An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Desirable, the 1934 Archie Mayo romantic love triangle mother-daughter melodrama (written by Mary C. McCall Jr.; about a man in his thirties dating a slightly older woman, and then he meets her teenage daughter, and at first, he has a "fatherly" interest in her, but over time, he realizes he is falling in love with her, and he wants to stop, but can he?) starring Jean Muir, George Brent, Verree Teasdale, John Halliday, Charles Starrett, Russell Hopton, and Joan Wheeler. Note that had this movie been made before the institution of the Production Code, it might have been far stronger in its depiction of a man in love with his lover's daughter. But because it was made after, it tended to stay clear of really controversial scenes!

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1934 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned one single lobby card and two stills for this movie and no posters! Note also that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. The card has some paper loss in the lower right and upper left blank borders and some smaller areas at upper right. These defects affect only blank paper, and the card is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
