But he never runs far!"; "The Loser wins the jackpot... Of bullets... When these two boys fight it out!"; "helicopter attack on a fleeing auto... The most terrifying duel ever waged!"; "Gambling palaces lure thrill-seekers to a world of wild gaiety and revelry!"; produced by Howard Hughes; sort of a Las Vegas version of Casablanca, and it even has Hoagy Carmichael playing a Dooley Wilson-like role!) starring Jane Russell, Victor Mature, Vincent Price, Hoagy Carmichael, and Brad Dexter NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded once in each direction. There were many light creases and scuffs scattered through the poster. There were smudges on Mature's hands extending into Russell's shoulders. There were creases, smudges, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. They are not all that distracting, but they are clearly noticeable. If I owned this poster, I would likely have a restorer try to touch up the defects within the image area without re-backing the poster (and certainly, any restorer could re-back the poster, and perform additional restoration at that time).
