An Original 1929 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage German Film Program (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) Ladies of the Mob, the 1928 William A. Wellman silent romantic crime melodrama (a wild story of a girl whose father died in the electric chair, and her mother raised her to be a crook as well; she grows up and falls in love with another crook, and she fears he will end up like her father, so she shoots him in the shoulder so he can't go on a bank robbery with the gang, but everything works out in the end) starring Clara Bow, Richard Arlen, Helen Lynch, Mary Alden, and Carl Gerard. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that Clara Bow was the most famous "flapper girl" of the mid to late 1920s (she became known as "The It Girl" after the character she played based on the popular novel by Elinor Glyn). She had a major role in Wings, and was Paramount's biggest star at that time. But she had a notorious private life and seemingly "settled down" when she married cowboy star Rex Bell in 1931 (she had two children and she retired from movies), but sadly in 1949 she went into a mental institution after a failed suicide attempt (she had had psychiatric issues for quite some time) and she was released but never returned to her family, and lived alone until her death in 1965. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of four of the pages of this 8-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and two of the interior pages together). You can see the four of the 8 pages, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are 4 pages you are not seeing. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended). Condition: good to very good. The program was once in a bound volume and it was slightly trimmed on the top and bottom, and there is tiny paper loss in several places in the spine, where it was once attached to the bound volume.
