An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Roads of Destiny, the 1921 Frank Lloyd silent romantic love triangle melodrama ("Written by Channing Pollock"; "[Suggested by O. Henry's short story of the same name]"; a complicated story of two brothers, where one steals the other brother's girl, and then the one brother dreams three different stories, all involving him having romances, and all ending the exact same way) starring Pauline Frederick ("in A.H. Woods Notable Success"), John Bowers, Richard Tucker, Jane Novak, and Hardee Kirkland. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that O. Henry is well remembered today for his short stories with surprise endings, and for creating the character "The Cisco Kid", but he also had literally hundreds of movies adapted from his stories, and this was one of the earlier ones of those.
