Forgotten Women, the 1931 Richard Thorpe Hollywood movie making newspaper melodrama (a complicated story of a young wannabe actress who rooms with an over-the-hill actress, and the young actress has a boyfriend who is a reporter, and there is a complicated plot about gangsters buying into the movie industry) starring Rex Bell, Marion Shilling, Beryl Mercer, Virginia Lee Corbin, Carmelita Geraghty, Edna Murphy, Edward Earle, and William Beaudine (in a cameo role as a director!). Note that this movie was very early in Rex Bell's career, and soon after this, he would move to B-westerns, where he had considerable success (and a marriage to Clara Bow), and he eventually became Lieutenant Governor of Nevada.
