An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Lady Is Willing, the 1934 Gilbert Miller English kidnapping swindling romantic love triangle crime comedy ("He always got his woman.... this time from another man!"; "She wanted him to steal her - from her husband!"; "Her marriage was a marriage of convenience...For Her Lover!"; "He stole her from her husband -- And She Loved It!"; From a play by Louis Verneuil; a really crazy story of a group of Frenchmen who are swindled, and they hire a famous detective to get their money back, and he comes up with a plan of kidnapping the swindler's wife, and offering her back to the swindler at ransom, but once he has her, they of course fall in love, and he does recover the group's money, but ends up with the girl as well!) starring Leslie Howard, Cedric Hardwicke, Binnie Barnes, Nigel Playfair, and Nigel Bruce NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
