An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Woman's Place, the 1921 Victor Fleming silent women's liberation political romantic comedy (based on the story by Anita Loos & John Emerson; a clever story of a woman in a midwestern city who runs for mayor, but her fiance supports the other candidate, who is his good friend; they break up over it, and she manages to make a speech that converts all the men in town to her side, but all the women vote against her, so she loses anyway; but her fiance convinces the new mayor to appoint all women to the open positions, which reunites the feuding couple) starring Constance Talmadge, Kenneth Harlan, Hassard Short, Florence Short, and Ina Rorke. Note that this movie (co-written by Anita Loos) was many decades ahead of its time, with its refuting of the old saying "a woman's place is in the home", and advocating that women could do just as well in politics and government as men!

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different scene card and two stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair to good. There are a few pieces of tape and some glue staining on the back of the card, and it affects the front. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
