An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Son of Paleface, the 1952 Frank Tashlin cowboy western crime screwball comedy ("Written by Robert L. Welch and Joseph Quillan") starring Bob Hope, Jane Russell, Roy Rogers, Trigger (Roy Rogers' horse), Bill Williams, and Lloyd Corrigan. Note that this was sort of a sequel to 1948's "The Paleface". That movie, starring Bob Hope and Jane Russell, but not Roy Rogers, had been written by Frank Tashlin, and he was unhappy with the result. So he wrote this movie, which stars the "son" of the star of the first movie (again played by Hope), but this time, Tashlin was able to direct it himself, and one presumes he was much happier with the result! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
