Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had missing paper in the bottom right corner that slightly affected the image, and affected much of Walker's credit. There were also tears in the vertical fold above that area, and tears and stains scattered down the right of the poster, mostly along the folds. There are some stains and tears that bled through to the front in the left and right of the word "BEATEN" and to the right edge of the poster to the right of that. There were some tears and paper loss in the left of that same fold. There were tears and smudges in the bottom one-third of the center vertical fold. There was a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster and recreated the missing area in the bottom right, but otherwise did not do any restoration (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
