An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Famous Players-Lasky was a motion picture and distribution company created on July 19, 1916. The studio was the result of a merger of Adolph Zukor's Famous Players Film Company and Jesse L. Lasky's Feature Play Company. The company was one of the biggest during the silent film era. In 1927, they were re-organized under the name Paramount Famous Lasky Corporation and soon were simply known as Paramount! Important Added Info: Note that this really cool still shows how creative the early Hollywood studios were! Famous Players-Lasky took their giant building which housed all their dressing rooms, and on the back of it they made a recreation of an old English street, which was then used in any movie they made requiring an old English setting! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: good to very good. There are small tears and small areas of paper loss in the blank borders, but the image is not affected.
