An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Margaret Whiting was an American popular music and country music singer from the 1940s to the 2010s. She was the daughter of Richard Whiting (composer of popular songs such as Hooray for Hollywood, Ain't We Got Fun? and On the Good Ship Lollipop) and began her singing career at a young age. She was also a radio star and regularly appeared on TV variety shows. She passed away in 2011 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Margaret Whiting! The inscription says "To Dorothy", and that was Dorothy Wilson, the 20th Century-Fox publicist. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in one of the bottom corners. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
