Die Kinder des Majors (literally translates to "The Major's Children"), the 1914 German silent military romantic love triangle melodrama short (about two military officers who love the same woman, and the one that she spurns claims that she acted scandalously but he is proven to be dishonorable). It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this German poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie! Not only that, but we have never before auctioned ANYTHING from this movie!

Note that this is an extremely rare pre-World War II German poster! Virtually no German posters survive from before, during, or right after World War II. Apparently there were many paper shortages in Germany during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all pre-World War II posters!

Note that this German poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Also note that the theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces).

Condition: good to very good. The theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). There is darkening, tears, and small paper loss on small parts of the folds and borders. Otherwise, the poster has survived in pretty nice condition, especially considering its age.
