An Original Vintage Theatrical English Movie Pressbook (English pb; measures 10" x 14 1/2" [25 x 37 cm]; * pages) (Learn More) a bound volume of 62 English pressbooks from the 1930s and 1940s. "Film Press Sheets: Volume 1 A - F" is printed on the spine of the bound volume, and "KOBAL COLLECTION" is printed at the bottom of the spine. This was the famous image leasing company, and someone there apparently had these English pressbooks bound together into four volumes, which we will be offering in four separate auctions (one per week). The bound volume contains the following English pressbooks: Adventures in Diamonds, The Affairs of Susan, After Midnight, Aloma of the South Seas, Ambush, And Now Tomorrow, And the Angels Sing, Appointment With Danger, Are Husbands Necessary?, Arise My Love, Artists and Models, Back Door to Heaven, Bahama Passage, Beyond the Blue Horizon, The Big Clock, Birth of the Blues, Blaze of Noon, Bluebeard's Eighth Wife, Border Vigilantes, Boy Trouble, The Bride Wore Boots, Bring On the Girls, The Buccaneer, Bulldog Drummond's Secret Police, Buy Me That Town, Cafe Society, Caged Fury, Carnegie Hall, The Cat and the Canary, Caught in the Draft, China, Christmas in July, Clarence, Cleopatra, Comin' Round the Mountain, Cross My Heart, The Crusades, Dancing on a Dime, Dancing With Crime, Dark Mountain, A Date With Destiny, Daughter of Darkness, Desert Fury, Disaster, Disbarred, Dixie, Dr. Broadway, Dr. Cyclops, Double Exposure, Double Indemnity, Duel in the Sun, Dynamite, Easy Come Easy Go, The Farmer's Daughter, Fighting Marshall, Flaming Feather, The Fleet's In, Follow That Woman, The Forest Ranger, French Without Tears, Frenchman's Creek, and The Frontiersman. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided images of many two-page spreads from within this massive volume, to give a sense of just how many great images and information about these movies is contained within (we wish we could have pictured everything!). Condition: very good to fine. The pressbooks were generally in nice condition prior to being bound together, and there is only minor wear on the outer binding, but the pressbooks themselves are not affected. Of course, please realize that if one wanted to remove the pressbooks from the bound volume, they would have to destroy the binding and all of the pressbooks would have a line of tiny holes down the left side, so please bear this in mind before placing a bid on this bound volume.
