An Autographed REPRODUCTION 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Monte Hale was mostly a B-western actor from the 1940s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: Giant, Rough Riders of Cheyenne, and The Big Bonanza AND Roy Rogers (often referred to as the "King of the Cowboys") is considered one of the all-time top cowboy western actors (he started in the 1930s and worked in film until the 1950s) and was nearly always accompanied by his equally famous horse, Trigger. He had many female co-stars until he starred with Dale Evans, and they married, and remained married for over 50 years! After his movie career wound down, he and Evans had an extremely successful TV show AND Allan 'Rocky' Lane was an actor from the 1920s to the 1960s. He started in the early 1930s in straight dramatic roles, returned in 1937 in more dramatic roles, and then found his niche in westerns and serials in the 1940s. Some of his movies include: The Tiger Woman and Silver City Kid among scores of others. He played "Red Ryder" in many movies, and his horse was named Black Jack. He was also the title role on TV's "Mister Ed"!
