He was the best-selling recording artist from 1939 to 1943, leading one of the best known big bands. In 1944, while serving in the Army Air Force, he was traveling to entertain U.S. troops in France, and his aircraft disappeared in bad weather over the English Channel, and he tragically died "missing in action", and he was only 40 years old. In 1954, Universal released The Glenn Miller Story based on his life, with Jimmy Stewart playing Miller. Some of his works include: In the Mood, Moonlight Serenade and Pennsylvania 6-5000 Important Added Info: Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.
UPDATED 08/02/2017: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this still features Glenn Miller, and not Benny Goodman as we originally mentioned.
