Note that we have pictured ten of the two-page spreads from this incredible book, and we wish we could have pictured them all. It was written about movies at a time when movies were just beginning, and yet it includes many of the all-time greatest stars, including Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, and Fatty Arbuckle, and much information about D.W. Griffith. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is the first edition from 1916. We have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. Note that on all hardcover books, the buyer must pay the actual cost of shipping (but if you solely buy books, or if you want the books shipped separately, they can be shipped in the U.S. only via "Media Mail", which is much less expensive than Priority Mail; unfortunately, there is no similar service outside the U.S. to Media Mail). So bear the above in mind before placing a bid on this book. Condition: good to very good. There are some stains and tiny paper loss around the edges of the covers, but overall, the book is in pretty good condition, especially considering it is 95 years old!
