An Original Vintage 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] News Photo (Learn More) Imogene Coca was an actress and comedienne from the 1920s to the 1990s. She started out as a dancer before combining music and comedy on Broadway in the 1930s. She is best remembered for her association with Sid Caesar on TV's "Your Show of Shows". She made many TV and movie appearances over the years. Some of her movies include: National Lampoon's Vacation, Rabbit Test, and Under the Yum Yum Tree. Imogene passed away in 2001 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this great news photo, which has been trimmed and it now measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm], shows Imogene Coca in 1927, when she was a "New York showgirl", and she posed for this wacky candid where her and another showgirl, Bee Wendell, were "limbering up leg and thigh muscles" outdoors in the real snow. This was around 25 years before she achieved major fame, showing that some actors and actresses DO have a "second act"! Condition: fair to good. Note that the still is rippled throughout, but more so around the edges (because of the newspaper clipping glued to the back) and that causes it to not lay completely flat. This causes "distortion" in our image because it does not lay completely flat in our scanner, but this distortion is solely in our digital image, and NOT in the still itself.
