An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) The Untamed Lady, the 1926 Frank Tuttle silent taming-of-the-shrew romantic melodrama ("Glorious Gloria in a new refreshing production"; "Pretty, pampered and petted! She was an 'untamed lady.' Until - "; "From the story by Fannie Hurst"; about a spoiled heiress who marries a man who decides to make her change her ways, and he refuses to allow her to act the way she has in the past, and she manages to change her ways) starring Gloria Swanson, Lawrence Gray, Joseph W. Smiley, Charles Graham, and Thomas Holding. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top of the still. Condition: good. The top 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above). The still is separating from the linen backing in the lower left corner and there is uneven discoloration in the top of the image. Learn More about condition grades
