An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Up in Mabel's Room, the 1926 E. Mason Hopper silent romantic comedy farce ("Al Christie's Laugh Special"; "from the Al H. Woods Stage Hit"; this play was so popular that the movie version was made the same year the play opened on Broadway; about a man on his honeymoon, and he discovers that his ex-wife and her new husband are in the very next room, and over the course of the movie, the entire cast ends up in her room, including a group of extremely sexy chorus girls) starring Marie Prevost, Harrison Ford (not the same Harrison Ford that we know as an actor today, but a very popular leading man of the 1920s), Phillis Haver, Harry Myers, Sylvia Breamer, and Paul Nicholson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
