A Limited Edition Art Print (with art by DKNG; 6/225; measures 24" x 36" [61 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Spy vs. Spy is a wordless comic strip first published in Mad magazine in 1961. It features two agents involved in stereotypical and comical espionage activities. One is dressed in white, and the other in black, but they are otherwise identical. The pair are always at war with each other, using a variety of booby-traps to inflict harm and they usually alternate between victory and defeat with each new strip. A parody of the political ideologies of the Cold War, the strip was created by Cuban expatriate cartoonist Antonio Prohias. The Spy vs. Spy characters have been featured in video games, television series, action figures, trading cards and more. Artist: DKNG Important Added Info: Note that this art print has been hand-numbered 6/225! This is one of 2,530 auctions for Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse prints from the personal collection of Tim League, co-founder and Executive Chairman of Alamo Drafthouse! All 2,530 auctions began on October 6th, and all close October 27th, starting at around 7:00 PM CST, a few seconds apart! All the prints are being auctioned by eMoviePoster.com, and will ship to the winning bidders from eMoviePoster.com, who WILL combine purchases into as few packages as possible (and they can also be combined with purchases from "non-Mondo" eMoviePoster.com auctions, only charging the actual cost of shipping, plus $4 for each tube or box for packing materials). Please know that 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go towards the Alamo Community Fund, dedicated to supporting charitable organizations in each of the communities where we have an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. And eMoviePoster.com has slashed its commission rates, so that we too can do all we can to support this most worthwhile cause. Whether you are a prior collector of Mondo prints or if you have never purchased one of them before, you surely have a movie fan in your life who would like something unique under their Christmas tree this year (or maybe you want to give it to yourself!). Our deepest thanks to everyone who participates in this very special set of 2,530 auctions! Condition: fine. The art print is in wonderful condition and it displays well!
