An Unfolded Hand-Painted Stage Play Poster (measures 22" x 28 1/2" [56 x 72 cm]) (Learn More)

The Mad Hatters, the 1942 stage play production ("The Senior Class of 1942 presents a comedy!") that was held at the English High School on March 6th. We know there was an "English High School" in Boston, Massachusetts at that time, so this may well be from that school. Note that this hand-drawn poster features great art of scenes and characters from the play! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that some member of the senior class of the "English High School" of 1942 painted this poster for a play they put on. The artist signed it in the bottom right corner, but there is paper loss in that area, the signature would seem to be "Augie DePietro", but the last few letters are cut off. If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. The poster was painted directly onto a heavy illustration board.

Condition: fair. Someone cut the top right corner, removing the second "S" of "CLASS" and there is paper loss in the bottom right corner.
