Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 13" x 15 1/4" [33 x 39 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was trimmed at the bottom. That was because there was a date printed there, and obviously, it was reused at a later time when the date no longer applied. The poster also had some minor wear on the folds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking (depending on how you value the missing area at the bottom). The poster was pretty well backed, but after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and there are now some faint creases scattered throughout, both in the poster and the linen, but they are not very noticeable or distracting.
