Some of his movies include: Judgment At Nuremberg (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Inherit the Wind (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Libeled Lady, Bad Day At Black Rock (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Fury, Boys Town (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Old Man & The Sea (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), San Francisco (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Father Of The Bride (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Captains Courageous (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and scores of others! He passed away in 1967 at the age of 67. Artist: Kurt Glombig Important Added Info: Note that this is one of four Kurt Glombig originals which we are currently auctioning in four separate auctions. Mr. Glombig was german artist who was born in 1906. In the 1940s he created a series of "personality posters" for the German branch of MGM, and we have auctioned a number of those posters over the years, for a much as $312. Now we are auctioning actual original art by Mr. Glombig, so of course each is a one-of-a-kind original! Note that this art was created on poster board that is a heavy enough weight that it can't be rolled, so this art will need to be sent in a large flat package, so bear that in mind before placing a bid. Condition: good to very good. There is a tear in the top left corner and marks in the middle right in the blank area. There are a few faint smudges around the edges (see our image).
