Some of her movies include: The Show of Shows, A Christmas Carol, Sally in Our Alley (in the title role as Sally Williams), and Children Who Labor. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful set of 4 stills each shows Shirley Mason displaying techniques on how to fight off would-be attackers! In each of them, she is posed with Robert E. Lee Hill, who was her fencing instructor! In one, she is gouging his eyes, and in the others, she is fighting him off with an umbrella, even though he is armed with a gun! Each of the stills has handwritten information about what is occurring on the front of the still and who is pictured, and there are also stamps from the King Features Syndicate, but none of the stills are dated, although they are surely from the 1920s.
