An Original Vintage Exhibitor Magazine (measures 10" x 13 1/4" [25 x 34 cm]; 204 pages) (Learn More) Fame, the exhibitor magazine published annually from 1931 until at least 1956. The only issues we have seen are from the late 1940s and 1950s, but we know that it started in 1931 because one of the later issues referenced that, although the ones from the 1930s and early 1940s are surely incredibly rare! Each issue is filled with "top ten lists" for 1950-51, in categories such as best western stars, best producers, writers, Britain's top ten stars, etc. In between those illustrated lists are "thank you" ads from top stars and directors, and as usual, it seems that those top stars and directors try to show how successful they were by taking out full-page ads. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and also pictures of one or more interior two-page spreads (but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine. Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss at the top of the spine and a small area of paper loss at the top of the back cover by the spine, with some scuffs along the spine. Someone put a piece of clear tape at the top of the spine, over part of the missing area. Otherwise, the magazine is in pretty good condition. Learn More about condition grades
