Love does not!"; "From the play by Lottie Blair Parker"; a re-make of the classic 1920 D.W. Griffith movie of the same name; a girl is used and abused by an evil rich man, and she is left penniless and pregnant, and then loses the baby; she is taken in by a farm family, but when they learn of her past, they mercilessly throw her out, especially because she has fallen in love with their son; she tries to cross a frozen river, but the ice begins to melt, and the son tries to rescue her) starring Rochelle Hudson, Henry Fonda (in his second movie role!), Slim Summerville, Edward Trevor, Margaret Hamilton, Andy Devine, and Astrid Allwyn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Because this poster is quite old and fragile, it can't be reasonably rolled (because that would almost surely damage the poster) and it will need to be sent in a large flat package, so bear in mind this additional cost when bidding on this poster. Condition: fair. The poster had many creases along the horizontal fold with a second fold 1/2" away from the regular one, and there were creases, tears and paper loss along both folds and between the folds. The poster also had pinholes and a few tears around the edges with some faint scuffs scattered in the image. Someone put thick paper tape on the back of the horizontal fold and then performed restoration to the defects on that fold. The restoration may have displayed better when it was first done, but if so, the restoration tape has discolored differently from the poster, and it is extremely noticeable (see our image).
