The National Railroad Passenger Corporation (better known as Amtrak) is a passenger railway service that was founded in 1971. It provides medium and long-distance rail service in the contiguous United States and to nine cities in Canada. Amtrak serves more than 500 destinations in 46 states and three Canadian provinces, operating more than 300 trains daily over 21,400 miles of track.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that the designer of this poster was attempting to capitalize on the gasoline shortages of the 1970s! It has art of an Amtrak train moving out of a medicine bottle with a "prescription" that suggests taking Amtrak as a "soothing cure-all for pains brought about by the high cost of gas!".

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has a horizontal line of tape staining on back at top and bottom (from it was likely displayed at one time) but it does not show through to the front. It has some light creases scattered in various areas and a few fine creases in the artwork at center and left. Overall it is in pretty nice condition and it displays well from a reasonable viewing distance!
