An Original Vintage Autographed Starline Hollywood Walk of Fame Trading Card (measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"; #113) (Learn More) June Havoc (born Ellen Evangeline Hovick) was an actress, first as a young child in 1918, and afterwards from the 1940s to 1990. She was the sister of Gypsy Rose Lee (who was born Louise Hovick), and like her sister, Havoc was pushed on stage by her mother from an early age, performing as "Baby June". Both sisters had very difficult lives, and after their mother passed away, Gypsy Rose Lee wrote "Gypsy", based on their lives (but Havoc felt it distorted her own life, and did not talk to her sister again for a decade, and only then because Rose was dying of cancer). Havoc had mixed success in movies, TV, and on the stage, with some major starring roles, but also with many lesser appearances. Some of her movies include: Gentleman's Agreement, When My Baby Smiles at Me, Once a Thief, and Timber Queen. Havoc passed away in 2010 at the age of 97. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by June Havoc! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who (together with his wife) has been a collector and dealer in autographs for decades! Over those years they obtained a huge number of autographed items through the mail, and they also attended many events where they could obtain autographs in person, and they also set up as dealers at collectible shows, where they would buy autographs and sell and trade some of their own. Over the years, they developed friendships with some of the celebrities they obtained autographs from, sometimes acquiring memorabilia of a particular celebrity that they would send to them as a gift, as a thank you for you the many autographs they obtained (in many cases, the items are personalized to either our consignor, or to his wife, or to both of them). Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity for this item, but we feel it is very likely the signature is authentic. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
