An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14 1/4" x 18 3/4") (Learn More) The Great Barrier (released in the U.S. as "Silent Barriers"), the 1937 Geoffrey Barkas & Milton Rosmer English train railroad western action melodrama ("Actually filmed amidst the scenic grandeur of the Canadian Rockies"; "Adapted from the story by Alan Sullivan"; about the building of the Canadian Pacific Railway) starring Richard Arlen, Lilli Palmer, Antoinette Cellier, Barry Mackay, Roy Emerton, and J. Farrell MacDonald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. The poster now measures 14 1/4" x 18 3/4". This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. Both the top and bottom borders have been neatly trimmed off.
