An Original Vintage Unfolded German Charity Event Poster (measures 19" x 28 3/4" [48 x 73 cm]) (Learn More)

Kriegsopfer (literally translates to "War Victims"), the 1930s German poster announcing that Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party were seeking charity donations to support war victims. Note that this poster features art of a dagger with a swastika and iron cross. We would think this poster dates to the early 1930s, when the Nazis were trying to win over the German people with "good deeds" like these (and the "victims" might be World War I people), but we really don't know. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this German poster! It has a metal rod attached to the top border and the bottom border, with a circular piece of cloth attached to the center of the top rod, to make the poster easier to hang and display, but this means that the poster can't be combined with other posters, because the metal could damage them.

Condition: very good. The poster has some creases and tears in the upper left border and someone put a piece of clear tape on the back of the tears. There are tiny tears and tiny paper loss in the upper right border and a few creases scattered throughout the poster.
