If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Russian poster! Note that the poster has printing over the entire back of the poster, and we don't know whether that printing was added after 1933, or if it was originally on the poster, and the movie poster was printed on the back of that! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that the poster has an artist's signature on it, but we cannot read it. If anyone knows the name of this artist, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Note that this poster is one of a collection of 36 similar posters that we were consigned (and are currently auctioning in 36 separate auctions). They include Russian, Uzbek, Ukranian, and Latvian posters, and some of them are movie posters, and others are circus posters, with a few other kinds of posters. All of these posters are incredibly rare, and on the vast majority of them, we have never auctioned them before, and it may be many years before we auction any of them again. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these posters, all of which have very striking images!

Condition: very good. The poster has light extra horizontal folds and a tear in the right of the bottom border. Otherwise, it is in pretty nice condition!
