Butler art of soldiers going to a Y.M.C.A. building for hot cocoa. Artist: John F. Butler Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable group of around 100 guaranteed authentic mostly war posters (around 75 war posters, plus 25 others, including political ones) mostly dating from before 1900 through 1945, with 15 from after that date! These were originally acquired by an archive decades ago, and they have been in storage ever since, until they were recently consigned to us. Many of these are the sorts of posters that you can find reproductions of on the Internet, but finding guaranteed originals like these is incredibly difficult (years can go by before these are offered for sale or at auction). This is a very rare opportunity to purchase any of these more than 100 posters! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster was originally folded and someone mounted it onto a very thin linen, with no excess. Either before or after it was backed, it acquired many creases and small tears around the edges, but is otherwise in pretty good condition, especially considering its age.
