eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 8k1213 TARNISH LC 1924 close up of angry Ronald Colman threatening Marie Prevost, ultra rare! Date Sold 4/29/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Tarnish, the 1924 George Fitzmaurice silent romantic love triangle melodrama ("The great American love lyric!"; "From the famous Broadway stage success by Gilbert Emery") starring May McAvoy, Ronald Colman, Marie Prevost, Albert Gran, Priscilla Bonner, and Harry Myers. Note that English Ronald Colman had been gone to New York in 1920 and had acted on the stage, and in 1923, he co-starred in The White Sister, which got him a contract with Samuel Goldwyn, but he was still not a major star, and he was second billed in this movie, but just a year later, he WOULD become a major star and remain one for two decades. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a glass slide and a German program from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There was paper loss in the right of the title and someone performed amateur restoration to that area (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
