Kenton Universal monster horror thriller sequel ("New Thrills as the monster stalks again!"; "Original Story, Eric Taylor"; the fourth Universal Frankenstein movie after the three 1930s classics; in this entry, Bela Lugosi as Ygor resurrects the Frankenstein monster and takes him to the doctor's son and they must find a new brain!) starring Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"; as Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein), Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill (as Doctor Bohmer), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Evelyn Ankers (as Elsa Frankenstein), Lon Chaney Jr. (as the Frankenstein monster), Holmes Herbert, and Janet Ann Gallow NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The card had small paper loss in three corners and it had paper loss in the center of the bottom border, extending into the very bottom of the "RANKE" of "FRANKENSTEIN". It had pinholes in the fourth corner and several in the center of the top border. Someone put marks around the mouth of the Frankenstein monster. It had a 1" tear in the left of the top border. A talented restorer replaced the missing paper without backing the card, and then they performed restoration to the above defects. When you know exactly what has been done, and you stare at the bottom center of the card or you stare at the monster's mouth, you can see slight signs of the restoration in those areas, but if you did not know it, you would almost surely not realize it, and from any reasonable viewing distance, the card displays well!
