A Folded Special Poster (measures 15" x 20" [38 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) Pearson's Magazine was a monthly periodical which first appeared in Britain in 1896 and lasted to 1939. A U.S. version began publication in 1899 and lasted until 1925. It specialized in speculative literature, political discussion, often of a socialist bent, and the arts. Its contributors included Upton Sinclair, George Bernard Shaw, Maxim Gorky, George Griffith, H. G. Wells, Dornford Yates and E. Phillips Oppenheim, many of whose short stories and novelettes first saw publication in Pearson's. Artist: Ernest Haskell Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair. The poster has discoloration scattered in various areas due to exposure to moisture and that moisture has caused deterioration and paper loss in portions of mainly at center (see our image). Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above, and after, the poster will display really well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
