Date Sold 7/26/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 8" x 11" [20 x 28 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) The Killer, the 1921 Jack Conway & Howard C. Hickman silent cowboy western (based on the novel by Stewart Edward White) starring Claire Adams, Jack Conway, Frankie Lee, Frank Campeau, and Tod Sloan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still was purchased directly from the estate of Claire Adams. We are auctioning other photos from her estate in this set of auctions, and will be auctioning others in future sets of auctions. Many of the photos have handwritten notes on the back, and we believe that the majority of those notes (if not all) are written by Claire Adams herself (and it seems that she wrote most of them many years after making the movies, because many of the notes are either inaccurate, as in the case of this still, where she identified the young boy as Frankie "Darrow", misspelling Darro's name, and he wasn't even in this movie, because the actor's name was Frankie Lee!). Also note that this still has been mounted to a linen type material and has an extra 1" at the left of the still, along with two punch holes in that extra area (typical of many key book stills). Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
