An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" Movie Still (Learn More) The Cabin in the Cotton, the 1932 Michael Curtiz romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the novel by Harry Harrison Kroll) starring Richard Barthelmess, Dorothy Jordan, Bette Davis (in an early, third billed appearance, this was the movie that first brought her to the public's attention, and included her classic line, "I'd like to kiss ya, but I just washed my hair"!), Hardie Albright, David Landau, and Berton Churchill. Note that Miss Davis was so little known by the public prior to the release of this movie that she received third billing and was not pictured on the posters (but she is pictured on the interior of the herald)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that original release movie paper from this most famous early Bette Davis movie (the one that started her on the road to stardom) is incredibly rare! In the past, we have only sold a single original still, and that one did not picture Davis! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2". Condition: good. Most of all four borders were trimmed off. Learn More about condition grades
