An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Corn is Green, the 1945 Irving Rapper Wales mining town schoolteacher education melodrama ("A Glorious Story for the Screen's most Glorious Actress!"; "Warner Bros. bring that great stage play to the screen"; "From the Stage Play by Emlyn Williams") starring Bette Davis, John Dall (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "His first picture! Meet that stage sensation... John Dall!"), Joan Lorring (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Nigel Bruce, Rhys Williams, Rosalind Ivan, and Mildred Dunnock NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
