An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Harpo Marx (born Adolph Marx) was an actor from the 1920s to the 1960s. He is best remembered as the Marx Brothers lovable mute (he never spoke in any of the movies!) and for his curly red hair, top hat, and horn. He acquired his nickname because he was an expert harpist, which he would play in many of his movies. Some of his movies include: Duck Soup, A Night at the Opera, Horse Feathers, A Day at the Races, Animal Crackers, and Monkey Business. Harpo passed away in 1964 at the age of 75. Important Added Info: UPDATED 05/24/2012: We initially listed this as a 1930s still but noted Marx Bros expert Steve Stoliar assures us that this is from the 1939 film "At The Circus"!
