Hogan circus romantic love triangle cowboy western ("Based upon the novel 'Stairs of Sand' by Zane Grey"; a really wacky story of a crook who holds up a stagecoach, and a circus man on his elephant wanders by, and helps the passengers who were robbed, and there are all kinds of wacky misunderstandings, and at the end, the elephant helps catch the crooks!) starring Joe Cook (in the title role as Arizona Mahoney), Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), June Martel, Buster Crabbe (billed as "Larry Crabbe"), Marjorie Gateson, and John Miljan. Note that Joe Cook was a vaudeville juggler and performer who, in 1930, at the age of 40, was signed by Columbia to recreate one of his vaudeville routines, and he appeared in a total of 8 movies, and he had the starring role in "Rain or Shine" in 1930, and in this one, but his other six roles were in shorts. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 2009! Condition: good. The poster has tiny creases, tears, and bits of paper loss along portions of the vertical foldline with some tiny bits of paper loss in some folds and the top crossfold.
