Springhill Salutes the Founders of Rock 'N' Roll, the 1997 special poster series made in commemoration of the founders of rock and roll including Elvis Presley, Bo Diddley, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, and Jerry Lee Lewis ("This is... a series of commemorative posters from Springhill featuring portraits by internationally-acclaimed American illustrator, Michael Schwab. His work has been exhibited throughout the world, including the Moscow International Poster Triennale [1992], the World's Most Memorable Poster Exhibit [Paris, 1992], the XIV Biennale Des Arts Graphiques [Czechoslovakia, 1990], and the Triennial of Posters [Japan, 1988, 1991, 1994]. He is featured in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Library of Congress."). Note that the backs of the posters have a great deal of printing from the Springhill International Paper Company, giving biographical information about the stars on front, information about the poster, and information about the company.

Important Added Info: Note that in the past, we have individually sold prints from this set, and they have sold for around $40 each, but we have never before had a complete set of them, in the original folder!

Condition: very good to fine. There is a printed label that kept the folder closed, and it was cut open down the middle so that the folder could be opened. Otherwise, the folder is in nice condition, and the interior prints are in excellent condition!
