12 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Remember the Day, the 1941 Henry King romantic love triangle school teacher melodrama ("With all my heart I say... I'd do it again!"; "'I've had everything I've wanted from life'"; "'After tonight ...I'll be with you always!'"; "Based on the play by Philo Higley and Philip Dunning"; about a teacher who has a lovestruck student, but she is married, and he goes off, and years later returns when he is a Presidential candidate!) starring Claudette Colbert, John Payne, Shepperd Strudwick (billed as "John Shepperd"), Ann Todd, Douglas Croft, Jane Seymour, Anne Revere, and Frieda Inescort. Note that Douglas Croft, who played the student in this movie, went on to play the young versions of stars in important Warner Bros. movies, including Yankee Doodle Dandy and Pride of the Marines, and he is perhaps best remembered for being the first "Robin", in the 1943 Batman movie!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that it is extremely likely that two of these are "key book" stills, and it is virtually a certainty that the punch holes were put there by the studio at the time they were created, so they are not a defect. SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 12 STILLS, BUT ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 12 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the eight pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best eight stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills.

Condition: very good to fine.
