What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with a few partial extra folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired a crease across the center (much more significant in the right half, and it has caused the poster to crack, with some tiny surface paper loss in parts of that fold, and there is a crease in the linen behind that area in the right half. Obviously, this can be addressed in several ways, but bear it in mind before bidding.
