Carson's The Sea Around Us, the 1953 Irwin Allen (later to produce famous disaster epics) underwater documentary ("A thrilling world of wonders you've never seen before!"; "Thrills never before witnessed by any human eye!"; "Octopus' crushing tentacles vs. shark's slashing jaws!"; "Vise-like coils! Vicious fangs! Deadly moray eel in action!"; "Nature's most fantastic wonders!"; "How science says world may end..by freezing, drowning!"; "Incredible color...incomparable beauty...6000 feet under sea!"; "Deep sea hunter in dangerous gamble with sudden death!"; "In fire and fury the Earth is born...before your very eyes!"; "Never before filmed marvels of the sea! On the Sea! Under the Sea!" based on the well known book by Rachel L. Carson; Best Feature Documentary Academy Award winner) narrated by Don Forbes and Theodore von Eltz (billed as Theodor von Eltz).
