NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this deluxe still has a still code that begins with "KN", which we have seen on other Keaton shorts from this time period. We don't know if that has additional meaning, and if it could possibly mean that this great still is from an early re-release (or possibly an early compilation of Keaton shorts). We are identifying this still as being from 1923, but we can't say that for certain, so PLEASE do not bid on this still unless you can accept the possibility that it might not be from 1923 (although it is surely from 1923 or shortly after). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Note that first release 1923 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never previously auctioned anything from this movie until we received this still! Note that this still is a key book still that measures 8" x 10", printed on a heavy paper, with two punch holes in the left. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.

Condition: very good. There are two punch holes in the left border (see above). Otherwise, the still is in nice condition!
