eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 8x112 NIGHT OF TERROR glass slide '33 cool artwork of Bela Dracula Lugosi wearing turban! Date Sold 3/11/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Night of Terror, the 1933 Benjamin Stoloff spooky house murder mystery thriller ("Horror in a house of mystery"; the old story of a group of relatives called to a spooky old house where the will of a rich man is read, and they must spend the night there, and one by one they are killed off!; it has a really wacky ending where the killer is revealed at the end, and he turns to the audience and he threatens Them with death if they reveal the ending to people who have not yet seen the movie!) starring Bela Lugosi (billed as "Bela 'Dracula' Lugosi"), Sally Blane, Wallace Ford, Tully Marshall, and George Meeker. Note that based on the advertising and billing of this movie, you would surely think that Bela Lugosi was not only the star of the movie, but was certainly the crazed killer. But actually, he played a pretty minor role as the creepy Hindu servant! Obviously, Columbia simply hired him for his star power, and shamelessly deceived moviegoers with incredibly false advertising. Also, note that this title was reused in 1942 when the 1937 movie "Love From a Stranger" was re-released under this title, but the two movies have nothing in common. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that original 1933 movie memorabilia of any kind from this movie is incredibly scarce! We have never previously had anything from any release of this movie! Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
