An Original Vintage Newspaper Ad Mock Up (measures 12 3/4" x 18 1/2" [32 x 47 cm]) (Learn More) L'Amore Primitivo (released in the U.S. in 1966 as "Primitive Love"), the 1964 Luigi Scattini Italian pseudo-documentary sexploitation comedy ("It's the wildest, maddest, sexiest film of the year!"; a really wacky movie, with Mansfield going to a hotel room and undressing, and then having a professor come to her room, where she shows him footage on a projector of various "mondo" type sex scenes and ritual animal killings, and she gives commentary over the footage!; she tells the professor that all men are actually primitive lusting animals, and that is proven in the climax of the movie, when she is attacked by bellhops, and the professor becomes a drooling sex maniac!) starring Jayne Mansfield (as herself!), Franco Franchi, Ciccio Ingrassia (Franco and Ciccio), Mickey Hargitay (Jayne Mansfield's real life husband; in their final movie together, as they divorced in 1964), and Carlo Kechler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we can't be certain, but we think that this is a mock up for a newspaper ad. We think that the person who created it only had black and white images to work with and they created a montage with those separate images on a black background. It then has a glassine overlay sheet that has coloring on the glassine. Of course, it is possible this is the mock up for the actual ads created for the pressbook, but we don't think so, although anything is possible.
