An Original Vintage Theatrical Mini Movie Window Card (WC; measures 8" x 10 1/2" [20 x 27 cm]) (Learn More) Theodore Dreiser's Jennie Gerhardt, the 1933 Marion Gering romantic tearjerker melodrama (based on the novel by Theodore Dreiser; an uber depressing story of a woman who has all sorts of terrible things happen in her life, and she is separated from the man she loves all his adult life, and she goes to him on his death bed and he tells her that he always loved her!) starring Sylvia Sidney (in the title role as Jennie Gerhardt), Donald Cook, Mary Astor, H.B. Warner, and Edward Arnold NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a pressbook, a single lobby card, three 8x10 stills, and a German program from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this mini window card! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10 1/2" [20 x 27 cm]. Condition: good. The top and bottom borders of the card were trimmed off. Someone attached a bottom border to the card (with tape on the back), but it seems likely it came from a different mini window card. There is staining in the lower left dark background area, slightly extending into Sidney's neck and slightly into her face (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
