The Fighting Heart, the 1925 John Ford silent New York City romantic love triangle boxing sports melodrama ("From the novel 'Once to Every Man' by Larry Evens"; "A story of Resolution vs. The Gay White Way!"; "-Broadway Counts Him Out-"; about a young man from a small town whose girl is reluctant to marry him because all of his family are drunkards, and to prove his worth, he travels to New York to become a professional boxer, but he is beaten by the champ, who was from the same small town, but after the fight, the champ makes comments about the young man's girl, and the young man beats up the champ in the street, which wins him the love of his girl, and he happily returns to her in their small town!) starring George O'Brien, Billie Dove, J. Farrell MacDonald, Victor McLaglen, Diana Miller, Bert Woodruff, and James Marcus. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
