An Autographed 1 1/4" x 3 1/4" Cut Album Page (Learn More) Ralph Bellamy was an actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. He had a major triumph playing FDR in Sunrise at Campobello, both on Broadway and in the movie version. He often had the non-glamorous role of the "guy who lost the girl"! Some of his movies include: His Girl Friday, The Awful Truth (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Rosemary's Baby. He made a great "comeback" with Don Ameche in the movie Trading Places. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Ralph Bellamy. It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item has been trimmed and it now measures 1 1/4" x 3 1/4" [3 x 8 cm]. This autograph (and others from this same collection we are offering in separate auctions) comes from the estate of Dorothy Credille, who was a Hollywood publicist in the 1930s to the 1950s. During the course of her work, she became personal friends and an acquaintance of all the top Hollywood stars, and she collected many autographs in an autograph book (as well as some signed 8x10s and 11x14s). Someone took the autograph book and cut out the individual autographs, and this is one of those autographs from that book. We feel certain that it is authentic. Condition: good. There is discoloration scattered throughout and it was once glued to something. Learn More about condition grades
